1. Who we are
BisoDay is an offline-first event-planning app (weddings, ceremonies). Your event data lives on your device and syncs with our servers when you are online.
The BisoDay app and service are developed and published by MyDesigna, the controller of the data described below. For any question about your personal data, email support@bisoday.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account: first/last name, email address and password (stored encrypted via Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Google, we receive your identifier and email address.
- Events: whatever you enter — guests, households and plus-ones (+1), tables, schedule, budget, messages and preferences (drinks, diets). This data belongs to you.
- Technical (diagnostics): minimal diagnostic metadata (app version, sync state, anonymised crash traces) — collected only when you tap “Report a problem”. No personal data is included.
- Notifications: a push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can alert you in real time.
3. How we use it
- To provide and sync the service across your devices and co-organisers.
- To improve the service and diagnose issues you report to us.
- To send you event-related notifications.
- We never sell or rent your data. No advertising resale, no third-party targeted advertising.
4. Sharing
We share your data only with the providers strictly required to run the service:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
- Firebase — push notifications.
- Payment providers, solely to process your purchases (we do not store your card details).
Nothing else is shared, except when required by law or by a competent authority.
5. Retention
- Account & event data: kept while your account is active.
- Account deletion: after a cancellable 30-day grace period, your personal data is permanently erased.
- Technical logs: kept in device memory only, never uploaded unless you share them.
6. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, per-event access rules (Row Level Security), and passwords never stored in plain text.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your data:
- Directly from the app (Settings → Support & account).
- Or by email at support@bisoday.com.
Account deletion is carried out within 30 days of validation (cancellable grace period). We reply to any request within a maximum of 30 days.
8. Children
BisoDay is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Cookies & analytics
The bisoday.com marketing site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. The mobile app runs with no ad profiling.
10. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced in the app. The online version prevails: https://bisoday.com/en/legal/privacy-policy.
